Chef Bryan Roberts has always been intrigued with food and spent many hours with his mother and grandmother, preparing meals for all occasions.  Alice Cook House Dining is the latest chapter in his extensive experience from cook to executive chef in the culinary world.  Chef Roberts attended Tompkins Cortland Community College, majoring in Food Service Management and has completed many training certifications.

He began working for a family chain restaurant, chopping vegetables, assisting in soup preparation and baking, and daily maintenance of the operation.  He was soon promoted to the main restaurant and three years later, he moved to central N.Y.  Immediately after arriving in the area, he was employed by a local steakhouse, and over a period of 4 years, worked as the Chef.  In the following years, he has worked at numerous local restaurants in the Tompkins & Cortland county area and at SUNY Cortland & Ithaca College, and two local hotels.

In addition to his time spent at Cornell, he is an avid golfer and also enjoys fishing and hunting as time allows.  He and his wife have two children and have just been blessed with their second granddaughter.
