The Cornell Sailing Camp is a wonderful way for campers to learn the skills and techniques needed to become a knowledgeable sailor. Through expert demonstration and hands-on sailing, you are certain to improve during this five-day camp.
Each full day features two three-hour sessions, and the final day consists of a day-long sailing trip up beautiful Cayuga Lake.
Sessions are held at Cornell's Merrill Family Sailing Center, located just a mile from Cornell's campus at the base of Cayuga Lake. Here campers will use a fleet of 26 different boats ranging in size from 13-16 feet.
Camp enrollment is limited to just 22 to maximize instructor/student ratio.
Campers will also be able to partake in recreational activities outside of sessions. Activities take place both on and off-campus. Options available include: swimming, bowling, go-karts, mini-golf, movies, beach volleyball, field games, basketball and more! Campers will also have the opportunity to explore the Cornell campus (while with counselors) and experience all that the University has to offer!
