Girls Soccer Super 60 Camp

Dates: July 22-24, 2012
Cost: Resident - $449 / Commuter - $339
Ages: 16-19

Women's soccerThe Cornell Girls Super 60 Camp is an intensive, three-day, competition-based camp for serious players ages 16-18. Athletes will be grouped into teams, learn from our Division I staff and receive training that includes a 60-minute full-sided match daily. Sessions will take place at Cornell's premier McGovern Field soccer training complex.

The camp is designed to closely replicate the training environment and competition that the advanced player can expect to find at the collegiate level. The full-sided matches are also an outstanding opportunity for players to showcase their abilities within the team framework.

Many participants use their camp experience as an opportunity to sample dormitory living and campus dining, while becoming familiar with the Cornell campus, community and the Big Red coaching staff.

Girls Soccer Advanced and Skills Camps

Dates: July 29-August 2 2012
Cost: Resident - $499 / Commuter - $369
Ages: Advanced - 15-18 / Skills - 10 & up

The Cornell Girls Advanced Soccer Camp is designed for the serious player who has an interest in playing soccer at the next level. This camp provides players with the type of coaching and experience they can expect to find at the collegiate level. Precise technique will be emphasized in terms of fine tuning basic skills to apply to a tactical minded game under increased speed of play. Small group and team tactical ideas will be taught with a focus on constructive and deliberate play. Goalkeeping specialists will be on hand to rigorously coach interested individuals, both technically and tactically.

The Cornell Girls Skills Camp is for the beginner, intermediate and advanced player who wants an immersion into soccer skills, tactics and games. The camp is held on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York. A typical day includes a morning session devoted to learning/developing technical skills, an afternoon session focused on applying team concepts used in games while honing newly acquired skills and an evening session devoted to competitive matches. Players will be put in age and ability appropriate groups for instruction and training. Skills include passing, receiving, heading, shooting and goalkeeping. Tactics will focus on individual decisions, group dynamics and team systems of play.

Coed Soccer Day Camp

Dates: June 25-28 / July 2-5, 2012
Cost: $179
Ages: 7-12

The Cornell Soccer Day Camp provides an opportunity for boys and girls ages 7-12 to learn soccer skills in an instructional environment that is challenging and fun!  Skills and concepts taught will include passing, receiving, shooting, heading, defending, attacking and goalkeeping. 

Before and after camp care available the entire week for a $40 fee.  Includes afternoon swimming.
