The Cornell Fencing Camp consists of group lessons and drills to improve fencing skills, introduce or enforce tactical concepts and strategies, and broaden knowledge and appreciation of the sport.
Led by Cornell fencing coach, Iryna Dolgikh, the camp features instruction from other highly qualified national and international coaches who can provide each student with individual attention.
The camp includes: supervised bouting, using electrical scoring equipment with a variety of partners to gain new competitive experiences and team settings.
Campers will also be able to partake in recreational activities outside of sessions. Activities take place both on and off-campus. Options available include: swimming, bowling, go-karts, mini-golf, movies, beach volleyball, field games, basketball and more! Campers will also have the opportunity to explore the Cornell campus (while with counselors) and experience all that the University has to offer!
Each camper must bring his/her own basic fencing equipment and full fencing uniforms: fencing jacket, knickers, mask, underarm, plastron, long socks.
Register for all three camps: $150 discount. Register for two camps: $100 discount (discount will be added after registration).
