Q. Can I get a single room?

A. Maybe. All co-ops have some single rooms available but the room selection process differs in each house. Contact the individual co-ops for more details about room selection procedures.

Q. Is there a grad house?

A. No, but many of the houses have a mixture of graduate and undergraduate students. The ratios fluctuate from year to year.

Q. Is there a meal plan?

A. Watermargin, Von Cramm, Prospect of Whitby, and 150 Triphammer have meal plans. Participation is generally mandatory and they are very reasonably priced. Meals plans include prepared dinners with plenty of staples available for individual use at other times. All houses have kitchen facilities available for members to use for preparation of individual meals and snacks.

Q. Do the houses have 12 month contracts?

A. No. Although most co-ops are open year-round, 9 month contracts are provided for the convenience of members. This means that members need not be concerned with the hassles of subletting while they are away for the summer.
