Single graduate or professional students may choose to live in a one-person apartment or studio (Hasbrouck, Maplewood, or Thurston Court), have their own bedroom within a shared multi-bedroom apartment or suite (Maplewood, Thurston Court, or Hughes Hall), or have a single room in a corridor-style residence hall with shared facilities (Schuyler House).
Some apartments are furnished and some are not. All residences include a kitchen and bathroom*, a common area for the shared apartments, and on-site laundry facilities, plus Internet access, basic campus phone service, and optional cable television (with an additional charge).
Most housing areas for graduate students stay open year-round, including through the summer. Check the "Housing Contracts" link to your right for information about which residences have 12-month contracts and which have academic-year contracts.
* Schuyler House has shared kitchens and same-sex shared bathrooms on each floor.
