This website is intended to keep you updated about the ongoing program house review that was announced last spring. We would like to encourage you to become involved in the process, too. The more students who participate, the stronger and more successful this review process will be. In her announcement of the review in the May 1 issue of the Cornell Daily Sun, Vice President Susan Murphy explained that this formal review of the program houses is part of “a process each academic unit experiences every seven years or so and one that Student and Academic Services has adapted for our many units.” She reiterated her support for the program houses as “a vital component of our residential offerings,” and explained that she has “worked hard to incorporate the program houses into our planning as we built the program for new students on North Campus and created the West Campus House System.” Some of the questions Vice President Murphy expects the review to answer include:

This mailbox will be monitored by Leslie Meyerhoff, Associate Director for Academic Initiatives in Campus Life. Leslie is serving as the staff support for the Campus Life Internal Review Committee. If you are interested in being a part of this review, please send a message to ProgramHouseReview@cornell.edu with your contact information and how you would like to be involved. In addition, if you have suggestions for good ways to keep students informed about the process, we’d like the hear them, so send them along!
