For Cornell Law School students
Hughes Hall adjoins the Law School's Myron Taylor Hall and gives its approximately 55 residents, who are all first-year law students, convenient access to central campus and Collegetown. The six-story (six-floor) building's newly carpeted single rooms are arranged in suites; which consist of a short corridor off a hallway, two to five bedrooms, and a shared bathroom; and are coeducational by adjacent suite. The building has Ethernet network connections, an attractive self-service dining area (operated by Cornell Dining), a lounge, a study area, a television room, vending machines, and kitchen, laundry, and recreation areas.
All utilities (gas, electricity, water, basic telephone (ResPhone) and internet (ResNet) are provided by the university. Long-distance or international phone service is limited to carriers compatible with Cornell's phone system. On-site parking is available for an additional fee. Please see CU Transportation.
