Lockouts:
If you are locked out of your room, contact your service center and you will be issued a temporary key for a $5 charge (or a "lockout voucher").
Lockout keys must be returned to the service center within 5 days, or a lock change will be issued and billed to your account. If your residence hall has card access and you lose a loaner card, you will be charged $10.
Lost Keys:
Report lost or stolen keys and ID cards to your RA, Cornell Police, and your service center.
Room locks will be replaced at your expense for $40 plus $3 for each additional key for roommates. For mailbox lock replacements, the cost is $20 plus $3 for each additional key for roommates. There is an additional service charge of $30 for all lock change requests. If your residence hall has card access and you lose a loaner card, you will be charged $15.
